1. Overview
AegisLogic ("we", "us", or "our") operates the DiveArc mobile application. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how DiveArc handles data. Please read it carefully to understand our practices regarding data privacy.
2. Complete Offline Telemetry & Local Storage
DiveArc is designed to process your flight files offline. All telemetry data parsing, CSV imports, flight phase segmentation (Climb, Jump Run, Exit, Freefall, Parachute Deployment, Canopy Flight, and Landing), and altimeter visualization are executed strictly locally on your physical device. We do not host or operate cloud telemetry storage servers, and the application never uploads or transmits your telemetry files or location coordinates outside of your device.
3. Types of Data Processed Locally
DiveArc processes telemetry log files (standard CSV format) that you import. This data may contain:
- Flight Altitudes, timestamps, velocities, and flight paths.
- Approximate geographic coordinates (longitude and latitude) recorded by your GPS loggers during flights.
This data is processed locally solely to produce interactive graphs and mapping projections. All imported data is saved exclusively inside the app's secure private storage vault on your device and can be deleted by you at any time.
4. Anonymized Diagnostics & Performance Analytics
To monitor application stability, debug software errors, and improve reliability, DiveArc collects anonymized diagnostic usage data and crash reports:
- Diagnostics Services: We integrate industry-standard crash reporting and performance monitoring services.
- Information Collected: Diagnostic data includes app performance metrics, crash logs, interaction statistics (such as button clicks or page transitions), and anonymous device identifiers.
- No Personal Data or Telemetry: No personal identification details, GPS coordinates, or flight telemetry data are ever collected, uploaded, or transmitted.
- Tracking Disclosure: The diagnostic identifiers are anonymous. We do not use this data for advertising purposes, we do not link it with third-party data to profile users, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks. DiveArc does not engage in user tracking.
5. Data Deletion and Control
You have complete control over all data imported into DiveArc. All local telemetry records, session settings, and companion logs can be deleted individually within the app interface. Uninstalling the DiveArc application from your device will automatically wipe all associated files from the device's private storage vault.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Because DiveArc does not collect any personal data or transmit tracking information over the network, it complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The app is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect or receive any personal data from children.
7. App Store Developer Policy Compliance
This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with:
- Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1 & 5.1.2 regarding data collection, storage, and non-tracking disclosures.
- Google Play Developer Policies regarding User Data, Prominent Disclosures, and Data Safety forms.
